Gabe has taught saxophone at Paraparaumu and Kapiti Colleges in the past.
He has recorded Saxophone and other instruments on Albums including ‘Vows’ (Kimbra), ‘High Place’ (The Red Eyes, Melbourne), The Offbeats (Wellington), Sessions at Radio New Zealand, Swagman Band (Wellington), and Melbourne Meets Kingston (Mr Savona Melbourne) and his jazz trio Swagman (originals band from Kapiti!)

Gabe Co-Founded The Raumati Social Club, Cafe/Restaurant/Live Music Venue.
He has thirty years of professional live performance and touring with well-known bands and artists in Australia and New Zealand.
He has played alongside New Zealand artists such as; Joe Callwood(Little Bushman), Brent McFarlane, Clare Christian, Warren Maxwell (Trinity Roots, Fat Freddies Drop), Darren Watson, Darren Matthiessen (Shapeshifter, Holly Smith, NZSO), Tom Callwood (Phoenix Foundation, Little Bushman) and Stan Bicknell (Kimbra, 48 May, The New Caledonia)
Gabe has also played in bands to support artists such as The Black Seeds, Lee-Scratch Perry (Jamaica), The Mad Professor (London) and Salmonella Dub.
